LAKE ISABELLA, Kern County — The Kern River Valley Branch Library offers evening hours three days a week and Saturday access from its Lake Isabella Boulevard location.
The Kern County Library’s official directory lists the branch at 7054 Lake Isabella Boulevard, Lake Isabella, CA 93240, telephone 760-549-2083.
Regular branch hours
Published hours are Tuesday through Thursday, 10 a.m.–7 p.m.; Friday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.. Sunday and Monday are not listed as open days.
After a previous renovation
The branch underwent infrastructure and service upgrades in 2024–25. Residents should use the library’s newer opening schedule instead of outdated notices related to the former temporary closure.
Kern County Library offers borrowing, digital resources and information about programs and events. The main branch directory is a reliable starting point, but residents should still verify an individual activity’s registration and whether holidays or maintenance affect the schedule.
Visitors can contact the branch directly to ask about public computers, library cards and current event offerings.
